We are doing a Armalite AR-50A1 as a raffle at a DU Banquet this year. We want to add a scope, but not sure where to even start. Not looking to break the bank, but want something that will hold up. Any thoughts on what we might look at? Thanks guys..

Are you kidding me! How cool, congrats!
I'm certainly no expert, in fact have never shot a 50 before, but I would think you will nothing someting rather high end to take care for a 50cal bolt action. Nightforce immediately comes to mind. If not something like a higher end leupold/vortex type.
I'm sure wicked with SWFA probably has better insight than I do.
I'm a dude who likes long barrels!

Barnett puts Bushnell 3200 on their lower priced combo guns and report is they holdup. I have a Bushnell 6500 milldot 2.5X26 on my 50 without any issues. If I had it to do over would probally go with the 5X30 version of the same scope
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch

3 come to mind. SWFA 5-20x50 FFP, Vortex Viper 6-24x50 FFP or bushnell elite 4200 6-24x50 FFP. You could save some money by going with a 4-16 but I wouldn't if I personally owned it. Those scopes are $8-1600
