I booked a hunt with Hoof Hunter for a blackbuck hunt back in August thinking it would be a great preseason hunt for the wife and I. Work and home life has had me busy lately and with deer season fast approaching (and now here), October 8 was the only day for us to go and try and take my wife's first trophy animal. After the 2 hour drive to Pecan Crossing Ranch we meet up with Steven and talked about what kind of blackbuck we were wanting. Of course the wife says the bigger the better. After seeing several 18"-20" blackbucks, we finally spotted the one she wanted. After 2 or 3 hours of dealing with the wind and the rain, she finally gets her shot opportunity at 150 yards. She made a great shot and has now harvested a gold medal blackbuck and got it all on video. Straight tape is 23" on both sides. Not sure what the final score is on him but the taxidermist will let us know. I can't say enough great things about Steven and his ranch. If your looking for a great animal without breaking the bank, give Steven a try. He's a super guy and will do everything he can to get you on the animal you want. Thanks again Steven.

man... i never get any hunting done when I take the wife...  great blackbuck.... now hunting is gonna cost you more cause shes gonna want to kill something too!
