There's one at auction coming up and might snatch it up. I know they're not known to be accurate but what a good price? It's listed as >95%.

As little as possible. Firing pins are known weak spot and are prone to breakage. Slide and frame are zinc alloy cast parts.

The Raven MP25 is PURE JUNK..Pot metal, poorly made and has the honor of being the #1 worst Saturday Night Special (Junk Gun in the U.S.) This gun is actually "banned" from sale in several states here in the U.S.They are far from safe due to their poor construction and materials and are best known and prone to failures.(Especially the Safety's failing)
The 25 ACP cartridge is an extremely weak cartridge as far as velocity and stopping power, regardless of what firearm it is shot out of. It is not recommended for any type of concealed carry or personal protection for any situation. It's poor ballistics's speak for themselves and the 25ACP is considered a NOVELTY caliber and isn't even taken seriously as an effective caliber for anything short of "plinking"You would be wise to avoid any 25ACP firearm these days and get yourself a decent well made firearm instead...The old retail price of $79.95 should tell you a lot.Junk..Pure 100% Junk.. I personally wouldn't give more than say $25 for a never fired, NIB, Raven 25ACP. Then it would only be for a Novalty, Display Item in my Display Case. These are PURLY MY THOUGHTS, & not meant to reflect anyone else's.

agree with you Coyote, I just show mine off as a joke/novelty. still it would be better than standing there with a rock, unless it was a big rock. they are junk, cheap junk plain and simple, mine looks more like a cigarette lighter and about as effective as one as far as self defense.

Tell me how you realy feel, Coyote.....kidding. I appreciate the lengthy post and was unaware of the poor construction. I was hoping to steal it for that exact reason: novelty. I was only thinking of a $20 tag myself. Thanks a lot. I am forewarned.

When my grandpa passed away several yes ago he left me one. Looks like junk and feels like junk. I did shoot two mags thru it a couple yrs ago with no problems. I personally wouldn't buy one unless it was really cheap.

Still never heard of anybody volunteering to get shot with a .25ACP.

If somebody gave me $50 to take one, I'd use it for a trotline weight. Had one many years ago. At 10', it shot a 36" pattern. Well...that may be an exagerration. I don't really remeber the pattern size. I think I sold it to some other sucker for $20.

Still never heard of anybody volunteering to get shot with a .25ACP. While I wholeheartedly agree with this; the Raven gives a guy a far better chance that it won't happen. Even Superman ducked when a gun was thrown at him. That's all a Raven is good for.

The Raven .25ACP was standard issue when I joined The Crips. I retired from The Crips in 2007. Look around and you can find some refurbished Crip trade-ins for around $45. The size of the firearm is convenient and stays secure in your pocket while Crip Walkin' or Stacken' as cars drive by.

NTRP said "Crips"
Folks, I know this was said in humor but do not fool yourself for a moment. Gang members tote 1911's, H&K, and Sig Sauer in Foudee and Foudee-Fie. A damn 9mm is as scarce as 15 inch wheels.

The raven went for $85. That's above retail isn't it? It was in the box though.

Even Superman ducked when a gun was thrown at him. That's all a Raven is good for. True, but the gun that was thrown at Superman would probly hurt if it hit ya.
Friend, I wouldn't harm thee for all the world, but thou art standing where I am about to shoot.
