Unless the trail cam pics you put up are extremely misleading, the buck you shot dwarfs the one you were chasing.

Wow, the deer you took dwarfs the one you were after. Can't beat that. Is he a slick 8? A 148 inch 8 pointer is a big, big deer. Great deer my friend!

He is a slick 8, his brow tine on his left is right at 10 inches.

hey, I know that ugly @$$ guy in the first picture with that cat! Once again congrats mickey, I don't know about you but if we only trailed that deer 650yds it was by far the thickest nastiest 650yds I've ever traveled lol.

Hahaha it might have been just a BIT further than that! Trying to make myself not look so bad!
