I see so many show on TV where guys are lugging huge packs to the stand. I don't carry one at all. So what do you just have to have in the stand with you?

If I am hunting my lease and not somewhere else:
Grunt call
Flash light
Cover scent
Knife
Multi tool
Bread tie/zip tie (for attaching tags to animals)
Ink pen (to fill out tags)
Mini camera tripod
Digital camera
Binoculars (if they aint around my neck)
Toilet paper
Orange flaging tape
Wind floaters
Cell phone
Bottle of water
Candy/snacks
Gloves (cold weather)
Face mask (cold weather)
Sun glasses
Few extra rounds of ammo

That may sound like alot but it fits into a very small Shakari Cloth back pack that I have had for years. Might weigh 5-6 pound fully loaded.

USUALLY CARRY EVERYTHING IN POCKETS

IF I'M SOMEWHERE WHERE I MIGHT HAVE TO
WALK A FEW HOURS TO GET TO A SPOT , I
CARRY A BUTT PACK OR MY M-L SHOOTING BAG
WITH A CANTEEN , A MEAL , AN EXTRA CAN OF
SNUFF , MORE ROPE ,SPACE BLANKET ,MORE T-P ,
AND MAYBE,JUST MAYBE AN EXTRA PAIR OF MERINO
WOOL SOCKS

I'VE CARRIED WAY TOO MUCH CRAP IN THE PAST
AND NEVER USED IT OR SAW A NEED FOR IT IF
I LEFT IT BEHIND

(FORGOT TO SAY A SQUARE OF CLOSED CELL FOAM
TO SIT ON IF THE OCCASION DEMANDS)

First aid kit (including snake bite kit), knife, TP, Space Blanket, Surgical Gloves, Game Bag, Pen, Pad, Kleenex, Anti-Fog spray (doesn't work on my glasses, any suggestions?), Off, Rope, Rangefinder, whistle, GPS, Compass, Wet Wipes, Small Rag, Trash Bag.

Some of that stuff could stay in the truck, but this way, it is all in one place.
