I haven't seen a belly like this on a deer so I just wondering what some of you might think is wrong with this deer or is it just fat? Looks like he might have a tumor or some sort of growth in his intestines or something, not too sure? Also any age estimates?

It is nice and green, there are three irrigated alfalfa fields within a quarter mile of each other and shelterbelts lined with acorns but all of the deer I have seen out there don't have a gut like he does.

He is just very old. He is in good shape but not really fat just the belly is sagging from age. Luckly he has tender green alfalfa to swollow and have to worry to much about chewing it up very well. At his age the only corn he could eat would be cream style.

Thanks, I'm still a pup when it comes to judging deer so I figured I would see what some of the experienced hunters might have to say. He is definitely rockin the deer gut though
