I will be headed there later, gonna look for the hog I stuck last night early before I get in the stand. I have low hopes, the grim reaper gave me 6" of penetration for a single lung behind the shoulder shot at 15 yards. Absolutely no blood on the ground last night so I didn't spend much time trying. I've made the same shot placement at much longer ranges all for complete pass throughs with Magnus stingers on even larger hogs. This was the first time to use a reaper, but it starts out with low confidence. I may test them on some more pigs but would hate to have this happen to a deer, will not be drawing back on a deer with a reaper until i change my mind about their performance.

i got my stand tucked back in the tree a little deeper so bout 4:30 i will be sweatin in the heat... hoping the big guy will come in and not see me...

time to head that way i guess. this ac is nice tho...

definatly at hot beast in this stand now, no shade at all. least im hidden from the deer better..

wonderful start to evening. golf cart tire went flat on the way to stand. now i gotta hoof it all the way back to camp after hunt and get truck and air tank..

Texas is funny! Right now I'm sweating but in the morning I am going to be shivering.

just had a flock of turkeys 10 yards behind me. im on ground but thinkin about heading up on tripod..

ive got clothes than can offset the shivering but i dont have any huntin clothes that offset the sweating...

I will join you. Currently up on tripod in Comanche county. Sun is hot. First sit in this stand. Ground is torn up under feeder. Trails leading through are deep and busy. The Sarrels Bobcatt is ready to rock.
