Thanks guys! Definitely a feeling you can't explain getting a buck with a bow! Been hunting all my life, but finally joined the bow hunting community. Well I've been it in for a while, just does snorting at me has hampered that! ha Wish everyone the best of luck and happy hunting! dlrz71, thanks for the happy first post! Awesome deer, can't wait to take my first deer with a bow. The rush with a gun is incredible as is, can't imagine what it's like when you're using a bow.

Its an awesome feeling to be in a tree looking at a deer and it not having any idea your there. Then when you pull that bow back and let that arrow fly there is no way to describe the feeling.

Had that exact same feeling the other morning, from either my heart pounding, or me breathing so hard! I was pretty sure the deer could hear it.. luckily, this guy didn't.
