To me it just doesn't seem like something that is needed in archery. Never got around to buying them even though they look cool on TV

Nockturnal is the best affordable nock out there.

The Lumenock and Easton nocks suck a big juicy one.

I am pretty impressed with the Firenock, but at $20 ea, I'll keep shooting the Nockturnal.

I shoot lumenocks and have had a few problems out of them in my axis arrows until i started sanding and roughing up like HunterTed said for his wife's arrows. they shoot great and deploy every time now.

I was thinking about trying some of the lighted nocks but WOW they weigh like 20 grains (at least the ones I was looking at).

Guess I gotta buy some anyway though. I was shooting with my brother the other night and he flung a luminock and I made the mistake of aiming for his arrow. OOoops!! I owe him now.

I wouldn't have done that if I new how much those nocks cost.

I shoot nocturnals and I love them. 20gr of added weight really doesnt mess with arrow flight at all, well at least not mine. Im still shooting exactly the same with or without them.

Yeah neither me or my wife can tell any difference using a lighted nock

Only reason we use them is because we are videoing every time we hunt

I sold a Vizsla puppy to the guy who designed and produces the Nocturnals, he lives south of Austin - support Texas business!

He seemed like a really good guy!

The problem I have had with Lumenoks is that when you shoot them through tall grass out of a blind like for turkey hunting the grass will catch just enough on the little prongs hanging off the side and that pulls them back a little and therefore turns them off. They also wiegh a ton (22 grains). Nockturnals fire off the string and are a little harder to turn off (takes a couple of tries to figure it out but then is easy as long as you have a practice tip on you) and they only weigh 8 grains so they shoot right were your regular nocks hit. Lumenoks hit 4-6 inches lower due to heavy weight. Nockturnals never fail. Lumenoks often fail to turn on. Buy some Nockturnals and you will never lose another arrow.

The firenock's work flawlessly, but are pricey. Worth the money to me

Nockturnals work best for me. No cool flashing but work every time. I have not seen enough of a diffence in the nock weight to worry about. Lighted nocks can be pricey but also can be helpful in recovering your game. I've had them run off with arrow sticking out and be able to see it to find the animal. If it passes through or it falls out as he runs off it will put you right on the blood trail. You also can see where they on the animal much better. If for some reason reason it doesn't work there is no harm your arrow will still fly fine. Unlike a mechanical broadhead that fails and ruins your shot. PS Lumenocks are the worst I've tried

Nockturnal for sure. Works everytime and my shot placement has never changed when using them. To turn them off, I carry a small pocket knife.

I shoot Easton Axis arrows. The Nockturnal X-nock is awesome. They have white, green, and red. They're the best ones I've tried.

Used nockturnals for the first time this weekend, shot a coon, badger, and a doe and they worked perfect everytime; unlike illuminoks. I shot the green ones just cuz that's all Academy had. They were responsible for me recovering two arrows so I already got my moneys worth.
