It's that time when i need some new boots and want to get something different. I need a circuit breaker people! Found some deals online but never bought boots online. But that's another story.

Any experience/advice/opinions welcome.

I like these. Looks like a great price:

But also these made by New Balalnce who I thought just made sneakers. I guess not. Now doing Hiking boots. But 2x the price.

I like my Rocky boots, both the zip up snake and regular thinsulate boots for cold weather.

Irish Setters by Redwing, most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I have tried other brands, but been wearing Irish Setter brand since early 70's and they are GREAT!!

Hard to beat the Irish Setters. They are comfortable right out of the box.

Columbia for a hiking style boot.

Danner for a taller hunting boot or snake boot.

Have two pair of Rockys and really like them. I would be very reluctant to mail order any boot as some manufacturers fit is not always the same as anothers of the same size. Have heard nothing but good stuff about Irish Setters and Danners.

I have a pair of Danners that I like, and two pair from Bass Pro that I like. I also just splurged and got a pair of Courtney Selous made out of Cape Buffalo hide and they are awesome!
