I had a young one last year that had a horn just like the last picture. Read on here somewhere that that will fix itself and is mainly seen in the first year of growth.

Haven't seen him this year that I know of, but without it he would be hard to identify this year. I let him walk on my place though. Didn't see the threat in letting him walk, had alot of other deer that needed killing.

We also had a deer with a side that frew down the side of his face like that. We didnt shoot him and have pictures of him after the season was over. We havent seen a deer with horns like it again, so I would believe that it fixed itself.

I hunt near Normangee on an all archery place and I enjoy it very much. There is a reason they call it the "Deerest place in Texas."

You probably won't make it in the B&C books but if you just love hunting and wildlife it's awesome.

Were about do yall hunt? I grew up in normangee and love it as far as the huntin goes...B&C dnt come around often but i dnt dout they are out there..see plenty of 130 to 150 taken every year. Just real hard to grow any real big there because of so many hunters and little wantin to let a deer get old...13 inch rule was the best thing that ever happend to us.

looks like you have some potential

A hunt based on only trophies being taken falls far short of what the ultimate goal should be,time to commune with your inner soul as you share the outdoors with the birds, animals, and fish that live there. -Fred Bear

Nice pics. I like the third one where that honey badger is about to eat the hog.
