I don't know what would be causing the problem, but I have learned to stay away from their cameras. We had one last year that the plastic that holds the springs for the batteries broke. Not just one piece, all of the brackets in that camera broke.

If you will bring it to me I'll get it replaced for you.

I have one of them and it is junk. I had a similar problem. I put a 4gb memory card in it instead of a 2gb. The big card was causing it to lock up. When I put a 1gb card in it the problem went away.

We just sent 4 of them back. It was only after my wife said should would talk about their lack of customer service (All our letters and Emails went unanswered) on the THF did we get a response. I will keep you all posted as to the outcome.

Product quality has really dropped and customer service is a joke, kinda like trying to talk to CS in govt.

I have 3, I wont have 4.

They chew batteries up like a kid at halloween going through candy.

The display board is always blank.
