If Remington truly took care of the issues I was having with my new 7mm-08 last season then that will be my rifle of choice. Otherwise it's back to my trusty old 7MM Mag.

Something belt fed would do nicely.

Or my Savage 10fp .308 or 116 weather warrior in .270

270 win or 300 wby. Depends if im by my self or if the fiance comes along. If she comes the 270 so she can shoot if hogs come out.

I won't have a rifle in my hand but my 7 year old daughter will have my Model 7 260 in her hand waiting for this guy to come out.

If I get my buck in Archery season, I think I will supprise the neighbors that have a shooting range not 20 yards across the fence and open up on first day of gun eason uausally just before sunup. I might just wake them up with the 50BMG for a few shots on my new range about and finish off with say 3 full clips from the M1A, just at legal shooting time. Never understood why have a shootign range so close to the fence line over a mile off the road when you have a place of over 2000 acres to hunt/shoot and the range is at the oposite end of the property from the camp
