Hey guys, I was out at my friends house the other night I saw about 4 foxes outside. He said that they are around there all the time. I was just wondering, what are the hunting regulations on foxes? Are they the same as hogs and coyotes or is there a season for them?

There is no season of foxes and you can hunt them year round as long as you have a valid hunting license. However, if you want to keep the hide or get it mounted, I would suggest to wait until the deep winter, December through February, to shoot them as the fur will be prime then. Same goes for coyotes and bobcats.

Thanks for your input. I'll probably wait until mid winter before I get them. I'm thinking about tanning the hides.

Get you a mouth call or digital caller and go hammer them. Foxes are the easeist critters to call in but they make for a little bitty target and they hardly ever stand still.

No closed season and no limit.

Fox: small predator animal found in the woods. (or) Fox: Hot chick found mostly in a Bar or Club, best picked up at closing time. (next morning you see it was not a Fox after all, but a Badger in tight jeans)

Ok, I get it now, lol.

Anyway, I'm going to watch them and bag them sometime this winter.

They come to my mom and dads cat food bowl every night. Might give that a try if you want to hunt over a "feeder". BTW, my wife saw you on a TCR re-run, she was pretty impressed! Keep up the great work
