We recently added a few of these cameras around the ranches and they perform pretty well. We had the cameras set on infrared light instead of the flash and the motion sensor set for every thirty seconds. We found that with the large numbers of hogs and raccoons, we had to increase the time to 1 minute or more based on location to eliminate having so many pictures. Thanks to these game cams, we were able to place hunters where we knew that had the best opportunity to get their game. Since these pictures, we have purchased several more cameras to place around the ranches. www.hotguidedhunts.net

I would adjust the positioning of your camera if i were you. the daytime photos are compromised with the high amount of light from the sun. I position mine so that the sun never is shining directly into it during dusk and dawn. your pictures will be much sharper with better resolution if you do this. I use the same brand cameras as you do by the way.
you can see this in the first and second daytime hog pictures.
good luck with it and great pictures.

Most of the pics are captured at a varying distance, but roughly 10 to 20 yards.
We only use the camera to keep track of the current hogs so that we can keep hunters on hot blinds. Of the hundreds of pics we get on any given day, we erase almost all of them. With 100,000 acres, we can't scout all the fields regularly, so the cams just track the game for us. Since the daytime pics have been brightened using photoshop, the quality isn't too bad.
