Haha, I can't blame you for that. I'm going to leave mine alone since pigs can't get in the feeder pen, and I would hate to run a deer off the day before the season...

I will be there Thursday. don't know why but you can bet I will find something to do down there. There's ALWAYS something to be done. I just enjoy being there. Wouldn't mind being there now, but couldn't justify burning vacation days for it.

Captain's Log: 5days left Last night woke-up in cold sweat at least every flip'n 30 min. (at least Dallas pulled one out of their A$$) I've been at work now for 80hrs this morning sitting at my desk looking over my cam pics.. watching the clock (Tiiiic.....Toooc (echo)) I keep telling myself I can do this day without killing someone, especially the "MORNING GUY or Sunshine Boy" that has to make his rounds to make sure everybody is having a good morning. He could make the hit list by 10am. The mornings are getting longer, but I tell myself its just in my head...

Haha, You will make it! Just start acting like a Zombie or something. Maybe they will send ya home the rest of the week.
My status: Today at the end of the day will officially end my big workload for the week. Starting tomorrow morning I go into autopilot mode. Which is good and bad. Good because I'm not running around like a mad man. Bad because time really slows down when you're not working hard.
I think my mental status is better than yours, haha. But I will be approaching your level by end of day tomorrow.

hitting the road thursday at 1:30 for the 5 hour drive from Houston to Shackelford county. shoot bow friday AM, check cams midday friday and one last dove hunt Friday PM. Will need plenty of Johnnie Black to help me sleep Friday night. Btw, the weather forecast is shaping up nicely, especially compared to what we've seen the past 6 months...

I've got the shakes. Its been a hard drive to work today. Watching ever pasture looking for deer. MORNING GUY came by already at the same time. Starting to pattern him. I could have sworn I could see atnlers on him this morning. He came by in his usual cheerful self. kinda noticed a little west beeze this morning with a hint of autumn in it. Change is coming...and it ain't Obama change either. Its a good change!!!

Day 3 Captin's Log
The commander (wife) said I could leave my post early. I think it had something to do with me playing with camo face paint last night. The new recruit (5yr old son) didn't get his deployment papers. Man can he get pissed...We were both sucking on our bottom lip last night..Mean Ole Commander!!
Well Made it to work this morning 1hr late. I've got a whole plate of "Don't-Give-a-Dam smothered in Kiss-my-a$$ GRAVY"...Dangedest thing happened this morning. Morning guy came by again...your not going to believe this..He tried to swallow his coffee cup. I told everybody I didn't know why he did it, but I don't think they believed me..But now one really seems to be to mad at me..Hmmm going to be a long day again..
