Well I was looking through some of my pictures from my camera and half way through all the corn from the feeder dumped on the ground. Any idea how this happened?

I have had low battery cause the timer to lock in the feed mode when it is time to feed when cutting on and dump all the corn a couple of times. Usually they spin till they empty the feeder or they run completely out of juice.

Coons and deer pulling down the timer and spinner plate or the bolts coming loose. I have a cheap feeder that has wing nuts that need to be tight. If it was dumped and not thrown I would bet this is the case.

yep. I'm assuming this is a tripod feeder. You can stop the coons from climbing the poles by sliding PVC pipe (larger than the poles of course) up. You'll need about 2 feet for each pole/leg. Slide it towards the barrel. Then, drill a hole in the feeder pole just below the PVC and insert long screw or bolt. This allows the PVC to spin freely and coons can't get a good grip. The larger the PVC diameter...the better.

Need more info. Didn't mention coons. Could be spinner plate to far away from spout, or worn edges and wind. Or electronic due to low voltage. Lightning can do strange things to electronics, but usually just fries them.

Well we didn't have picture of anything (coons, cows, or deer) messing with the motor. Im assuming it was too far away so I moved it up. Hopefully that worked and I wont have 200lbs of corn of the ground.
