I just got back a couple days ago from three fingers bowhunting in Fairfield. They do sika hunts for $750 and you get a free hog. There are some nice ones there.

Ya iv been there, Its not bad place, only thing I didnt like was trying to get ahold of the guy who runs it, Walter. His Guide Ricky is a great guy, He talks to you like an old high school buddy. For being how dry the area is and heat all the animals look in decent shape.

oh and if you do decide to do a hunt and they book you at the Y.O. resort make sure to call the resort itself and ask if they got you in a room. I had to wait in lobby for about 3 hours till i got squared away

Most def. I wish I could have snapped photos at everything I saw but Iv seen few sikas before and these were much larger then those. I know he had some managment ones as well for like 300-500? i dont recall exact price but not bad if you want a euro mount and meat vs. just a sika doe

They had some nice ones, price was definitely good. My son took a buffalo and I took a red deer hind. The guides name is Ricky. If you call Woodbury processing ask for Daryl, he will have Ricky's number. I know it's a roundabout way to get in touch with the guide but it will work

I got my oryx there a few weeks ago as well. Ricky is very nice and extremely helpful. I did not see the sikas but he had some very impressive blackbuck, alot of fat axis (btw $200/doe), and all the deer were in very good condition

Just remember, it is not the hardest place to hunt, but I had a blast when I was there. Ricky is an great guy and will make your hunt enjoyable. The Y.O. Hotel is cool old historic place.

There are two kinds of people in this world, those who believe they can and those who believe they can't. They are both correct.

Very true, the only real hard about my oryx was them grouping tight and to get one singled out. And yep Rickys the man!
