Got an opportunity on a lease north of the lake. It has a good size tank on the property and the rest is crop land that will be planted in wheat this winter. Does anybody hunt the area and does it have alot of ducks and geese. Went there today and took a two man limit of blue wing. Just wondering if it it would be worth getting on.

Limits of blue wing means big ducks will come as well

If you have water, you're already ahead of the game.

this thread is probably one of very few exceptions to the lake naming debacle in that it has nothing to do with the lake itself. This guy is wanting to know about the area in which his lease is in...

That area is good for ducks, and most of us know that! up

Thanks guys. Landowner backed out of leasing the property the day after I put the check in the mail. Talk about disappointment.

Don't stop there, keep hitting other area landowners having ponds that have water. If there is one, there are others.

Last time I checked, most people don't name their ponds. He is hunting a pond near Cooper, not the lake itself. That's not lake naming.
