I'm new to this game cam thing. I have an SD card in my camera. Do you bring A card and trade out then view pics back at camp?

Do you take a laptop to the camera, plug it in and download there?

Is there an SD card reader for iphone?

Tell me how you do it?

I swap SD cards when I go to the lease. I look at them with a digital camer at camp. Take them home when I leave and down load on my home computer then wipe them clean for next time.

I would take my computer with me and look at the pictures while out there. Then decide if I need to move or make adjustments.

Take computer and download when there. If I forget the computer, I have extra cards in the truck and just switch them out.

I bought a $70 DVD player that reads SD chips. I swap chips in the camera then view the pictures at camp.

I just pull the card, put it in my pocket, replace with a fresh card and then view on my lap top back at camp.

This probably what I'll do as well. I tried taking my laptop to the camera, but the sun washed the display out so badly I couldn't see anything.

I found an SD Card reader on Amazon, it has average to good reviews. I may try that too.

I take my laptop and download the SD card directly on it and then put the SD card back in the camera.
I view them later back at camp or home.

If it has been less than a month, I just change the cards. I do like to pull the cameras & take them to camp to check the battery charge etc once in a while.

I always have my laptop to load and view pics. I keep all prior pics on the laptop.

I have heard that some GPS models will read the cards. I have not tried it on mine.

I swap out the card for a fresh one. I have a card reader that I view the pics on.

I take my laptop and pull out the sd card and start the upload while I'm filling the feeder. Then clear it off and put back in when I leave.

That's what we do too. With 4 cameras out, and about 1500 pics per cam, we don't have time to view them in the field.

I Keep a laptop in the truck, but will usually swap cards and look at pics on the way home.

Depends on how many days the cameras are out. If they have been out 4 days or more I pic them up and then take them to the office and download all the cards and reformat them. Then will take them out and put them in new locations. If it has been only a day or so I will replace all the cards with a clean one and then download them and reformat them for the next time. Takes a long time to sort thru that many pics in the office much less the field. As I download them I delete all the unwanted pics. Usually takes a half a day to do this. Sorting thru the pics to look at each deer takes more time. If cameras have been out a week or so it takes almost a full day to retrieve cameras, download and delete, replace batteries, put in new cards, and then reset cameras. But it is so much fun.

I make the rounds once a week and swap out the cards. View the results on the computer back at the house. My hunters carry a laptop to the lease and view theirs back at camp. I have a couple of small white plastic boxes that were once 99 cent Johnson & Johnson first aid kits that I use to transport the cards. Little Q-Tip Travel Pack containers also work fine.

We check cams while filling feeders, I will fill feed and the better half will get the SD card download it to the laptop, clear the card and put it back before we leave I will check the batery and swap it our if needed.

This all works great until the one time the pictures accidentaly got deleted between the card and the computer... there was a tense couple seconds!
