Just curious what everyones favorite game is to eat?
1. Big game(what animal)?
2. Bird(what type)?

O.K.-Mine would have to be #1 Elk and #2 Bobwhite quail.
Wait #1 is probably a tie between Elk and Buffalo(N.Amer.Bison)!

Moose and quail. Elk and Buffalo run a close second, dove breasts, taken off the bone, with each side being wrapped in bacon with a piece of Jalepeno wrapped in with it and grilled on mesquite.

O.K. CHC, have you been hanging out in the local crack house today?
Dove wrapped in bacon over Phesant or turkey?!? What about chukar?

I only like turkey fried, what pheasant I have eaten tasted alright but not as good as I had expected, I don't guess that I have an educated palette. Chukar tastes okay, but all I have ever eaten were pen raised. Dove breast and Jalepeno wrapped in bacon and grilled is caviar to a lot of Texans. JMHO

I know it is. I was just joking. Thought maybe you killed a few chukars when you were up north. Probably quite a few more in the area I'm from. They introduced them probably 15 years ago and now they are everywhere. I make phesant and turkey in a white wine cream sauce. It's killer!

Favorite big game animal is Buffalo hands down. Favorite bird has to be quail, fried and smothered in gravy.
