The Austin racing pigeon association was super pissed at me last year for shooting one of theirs. I was called all kinds of names by the guy. How was I suppose to see that little band

Not bashing..My dad races pigeons and lives in Collin county.. The racing season starts about Sept. 1 and runs through like dec. The birds are in full plume.. Id keep the bands and not call.. they lose a lot of birds to Hawks, falcons, high line wires etc.. One bird prolly wont be missed much

Get it mounted up real nice. Have the taxi put a little helment on him and incorporate a checkered flag into the mount too. Then send a picture of it to the American Racing Pigeon Union.

Found one with a red band today at work looked like he killed him self trying to get out. Is it a racing bird. It was banded this year.

Zippo, got 3 red bands this year(2011). What was the lettering on yours? And the #? Two of the red bands were only 12 numbers apart. Pm me if you want. Later, B
