Saw an injured coyote in the preston hollow area about 20 minutes ago. It was hobbling along an just stopped and stared at us while I shined the brights on it. It was near a creek area that feeds into Bachman lake so I wasn't too surprised to see it.

Only other time I've seen one was by Dallas country club.

Just crazy to see them running around so far in the city limits. I have crappy IPhone pictures I'll add in the morning.

Not to seem like a topper, BUT! About 7 years ago we were leaving Baylor Dallas at about 0300 and saw one 2 blocks from the hospital.

The guy I was on the ambulance with looked at me and said "did you see that?" I said "yeah that sure looked like a coyote, but it couldn't have been, we're in downtown Dallas." He promptly reminded me of how close we were from the Trinity River. Then I believed my own eyes.

Was driving around West Plano one night about a year ago and saw a coyote right by Park/Preston trotting down the right lane.

Also saw a red fox running around our neighborhood in N.Dallas.

Property owners around us have always wondered "what happened to Kitty",My dad used to feed the yotes behind his house with squirrels, any creature that messed with his fruit trees.

I work nights in the DFW metro-mess, I see coyotes all the time, I have heard of bobcats, but haven't seen one of them yet.

I had a guy working for me one time that I sent behind a business we where working on, on Spring Creek in downtown. He goes in the back and promptly comes running back saying "there's wolves back there!"

I went back there with him and it was a pair of coyotes trying to get into a dumpster. They would run to the end of the building and just watch us. I ask him if " they took his lunch money" he said "no". He could have ran into allot worse back there.

I saw one running around at Inwood and Walnut Hill just a few months ago. Just three days ago I was driving up to Episcopal School of Dallas for a football game and I saw a fox running through the campus.

I live very close to White Rock Creek. There are plenty of yotes, bobcats and foxes.

I lost 2 baby goats and at least 10 chickens this year to coyotes and bobcats. The drought seems to be making them search farther for food.

Kill'em if you can!!!

Older lady down the street went out to get her Sunday paper and a bobcat was reading the Sports page. She let it finish the paper. Actually she had put out cat food for the strays and it had helped itself to a bowl of cat chow. I live in the Lochwood area of White Rock by Plano Rd and Northwest Hwy.

The live everywhere. Downtown Dallas, HP, White Rock, etc. Just have to be at the right place at the right time to see them.

Got within 20 feet of a bobcat last summer at a park in Plano.
He stopped and watched me pass on my bike.
Also saw a coyote in Highland Park one night while looking at
Christmas lights about 10pm.

I saw 7 on a golf course in lewisville earlier this year.

We have a couple in the backyard from time to time. Neighbors have a family of foxes that live under there shop.
