Do you think you could get longer use out of your battery by setting your feeders to low rpm and a adding a few seconds to how long it throws, or high rpm and taking away a few seconds?

Add a solar panel and it will do what you are wanting. From what I was told the hardest thing on a battery is when the motor is starting to spin, not the length or speed it is running.

You could go lower rpm and adjust the opening wider between funnel and spinner.
