I have seen this kind of thing in a study done on bucks in the rut. Its a major influx of testosterone. The buck will go back to looking normal after the rut, but will prob. continue to do the same thing year after year... Just a freak deal.

No..no... it is all those waffles he is getting right now with the onset of season. Lay off the butter and syrup grin

Never heard of that either. I have seen something about this on either North American Whitetail or Deer and Deer Hunting TV once but only caught the end of it.
