Shot with 30-06 while in deer blind last yr lol. Had 30 turkeys come in before it as well so it was hungry. I had looked to my right and it was sitting down looking at me about 15 yds away. Pretty crazy.

u know...tpwd did a huge turkey re intro program in hunt co, mainly around poetry...and its taken real well. just like the whitetail restock program they did 15yrs or so ago w all the kansas deer... and i aint about to talk about some of the monster big bodied "kansas" looking crosses ive seen from rockwall co, to poetry and out around twak.. lets just say ive known some ol boys that been hunting the poetry bottoms for years, and they dont hunt elsewhere ya know

from the bottoms the other side of royse city, to caddo, and across to 1565....long kept secret. good luck getting any access though. like i said theres some ol boys out there had all that sown up tight since before all the restocking stuff happened. biggest buck i ever seen in my life was knee deep in hickory creek that runs from those bottoms into tawakoni...he was absolutely rediculous.. non typical, double drop, big bodied kansas strain. i hunt the bow only land at twak a few times a year. theyre in there

Thanks. And i have seen a family of bobcats in my neighborhood. Off 276. Shot a lot of coyotes one year because they killed a lot of dogs as well.
