I am new to reloading. After my father passed away I got all the reloading stuff he had. He had reloaded back in the late 70's and early 80's. I have a redding beam scale with a trickler but it takes forever and if there is any wind at all it takes even longer. I reloaded 75 30-06 rifle rounds last night. I know there are powder despensers but for the amount I will be reloading the cost is just too high. Any ideas?
Loaded hornady #3031 150 grain bullets (they were 30 years old but they still make them) 51.7 grains of IMR 4064 with CCI BR2 primers. Tumbled, resized, trimmed and loaded
What is your favorite 30-06 load in the 150-165 grain range for a remington 700?

Lee makes an economical powder measure. What it lacks in features it makes up for in low price!

The lee set works well...before that, I took a page from my grandads book and measured and weighed a charge, dumped it into a. 38 spl case, cut the case, then brazed a little coathanger handle onto it...but that was for 4-5 gr. Of unique for pistols...

What Punkin suggests works and Lee also sells sets of plastic powder dippers of various sizes which also work

I went and bought it at Cabelas in Allen. Seems to be within .5 grains. Worth the money so far.

It should be closer than that I think. Did you fully disassemble and clean it? My rcbs was internally covered in shipping grease and required that.

Part of getting more accuracy out of your powder thrower is consistancy. Doing it the exact same every time goes a long way.
On the LEE I find 3 taps on the side at the circular part works well. With some powders I have measured charges within + to - .1 grain YMMV
