I just got notification that I was selected for the pronghorn hunt at the Rita Blanca Grass Land by TPWD. Has anyone ever hunted there before. Any tips would be great. My 11 year old nephew also drew with me.

Wow! They do exist.
Seriously congrats on the draw. All you need to do is talk with the USFW biologists that work the area and you will be fine!
Good luck. How many preference points did you and your nephew have?

I had 19 years of points. My nephew zero. The wierd thing is that this year I drew pronghorn tags in NM and Wyoming. I was flabergasted when I was notifed I drew Rita.

My 11 year old nephew also drew with me. I've been there shooting prairie dogs in May and we seen a lot of pronghorn, I would find a windmill and set up a ground blind if I were going. good luck

I will say that pronghorn has been my favorite hunt. make sure you have good binocs and shooting stick. those boogers can see you from pretty far away.
