Dont buy bushnell scopes, i sited mine in 3 weeks ago, and it was zeroed in, this friday i missed an 18- 19" inside 8 point that probably would have went 130 or better, i missed him twice, i shot my gun at the range yesterday and it was hitting 6 inches low consistanlty, i never bumped, dropped, hit it or nothing, and i carry it in a hard case with foam. dont buy one

You just negated your whole post with namecalling, David. Read and understand the guidelines.

David probably got chewed out by his wife and decided to take it out on others via his computer keyboard. An obvious case of getting his back side chewed off.

I have to agree with David on this one, although in a more civil form. Bushnell does make some quality products, but its just like everything else in life....you get what you pay for. Sorry he jumped on you, but some people cant tolerate others. Maybe he is a Bushnell sales rep. Who knows?

c'mon guys, this is suppose to be a very professional forum! are we not suppose to be mature hunters! what if some anti-hunting people would look at our forums?? what would they think of us??? bassfisher was just upset! even if it is just a $10 dollar scope it should still be on somewhat or is bushnell just selling junk to rip off $10 dollars from their customer? i think they should not sell it!!! canazes might be a bushnell sells rep. they way he just exploded on his fellow hunters?? can you imagine hunting with him?? if he just went off on just a scope conversation, can you imagine upsetting him out on the field!!!! i too have had bad experiences from bushnell scopes!! including their so called 4200 series or whatever they are called!!

You can get a dud out of any product. I had to send some Zeiss binoculars back to the factory.

Bushnell makes a "popular priced" product but I expect will fix it and I expect the merchant will take it back and either replace or refund your money.

Older Bushnell's are JUNK! That is a FACT! They started making better optics some 5 to 6 years ago.

I agree with Texas Heat, they SUCK!!! I have tried 3 diferent ones over the years, they all would not stay zeroed! Sent them in, retightened, had rings lapped. They cant take a big caliber guns recoil I guess. Now the newer one that I have is on a gun that has less recoil, but I have not yet really got to shoot much with it yet, so I guess I will see.
Why did that other guy get upset? It is what it is!

They're ok... but there are a couple that are better in that price range!

I went to Bass Pro last week and was looking at a bunch of scopes. Swarovski, Zeiss, Burris, Leopold Varix II and Varix III. For the money, you cant beat the II for clarity, and from what I have heard on this forum, the service is great, as is the durability. It will be my next scope.
