I have a friend that has a connection with BOWTECH. I am in the market for a new bow and he can get me set up at cost. I am wondering if anyone has experience with or advice about BOWTECH bows.

I considered buying one last year , but I went with a Matthews instead. I thought it was smoother. But BowTech make great bows. You cannot go wrong getting one at cost.

I went to Bowtech b/c I got tired of Mathews having basically the same bow since 2004. Couldn't be happier and am shooting better than ever. I was hoping for a great offering from Mathews this year, so that I could go back to the "darkside" but once again, they changed the axle to axle length and its just the same ole, same ole. If you can get a bowtech for cost, you really do not need to ask anyones thoughts about them. You need to decide will it be the......
101st Airbourne?
82nd Airbourne?
General?
Guardian?
Allegiance?
Tribute?
etc....

It's not how far a shot, it's how close you got.

I bought a used Patriot last year and love it. I don't think I'll ever own anything but Bowtech.

I bought a '04 Bowtech VFT Patriot Dually in '05 and still love it. Different strokes for different folks, but I believe you'd be very happy. Just shoot them all and find the right one for you.

A Bowtech is probably going to be my next brand of bow. I shot the Guardian and didn't like it as much as the others. But from what I have seen on the hunting experience side of their bows with hunters, I like what I hear on the shot(nothing) and what I see on their accuracy. It's a good bow manufacturer in my opinion.

I bought a Black Ice this august, and have never shot a bow before. Practiced solid for 2 months and harvest my biggest buck to date. Very forgiving bow and shoots extremely accurate

If you're getting it at cost you can't go wrong. And I'm now shooting a Mathews.

Bought my first bow this year and it was a Tomkat by Bowtech. Could not see me investing $1200 in a switchback, when i have never bowhunted. Practice for a month and killed the first deer that i drew back on. Not much experince, but i love my bowtech.

I have been useing a Bow-Tech for 3 years now and have harvested 5 deer with it including my P&Y this year. Its a great bow and does a great job for me. My hunting partner also bought a Diamond Black Ice this year and we had an awesome bowhunt in Kansas where he Harvested 3 nice doe and me a buck and a doe. It was on in Kansas. There are many choices and most of them are good bows but as for me I am sticking with Bow-Tech.

Hopefully the last bow I ever buy !!!!

Havent got any pics yet but I have taken a doe at 20 yds. this season. The deer went to the family on whos land I was hunting on. Theyre going to let me harvest one more for myself but they asked me to wait untill the end of the season 'cause the big 10 I've had my eye on seems to be the domaint buck so they want him to breed. They know theres other hunters around but he seems to have dodged them all for about 4 years. He may be older, Oh well, we'll see.

Good luck and good hunting !!!

Oh Yeah...And Happy Thanksgiving To ALL !! Going to Blanco ... see what I can stick out there ....

Welcome to the forum 4321. I like the look of the Guardian but I'm pretty sure my Tribute will be enough for me....for now..
