I went to Bass Pro yesterday and they would not sell me a case of these shells as the guy said Duck season was too far away. He did not know what teal were of course. Glad I didnt buy any there. I found a website www.rogerssportinggoods.com and bought a case with free shipping.

Yeah I had to laugh to keep from cursing, he said I could just pick 10 boxes off the shelf. So I asked if I got the case price for that and he said probably not. I felt like I was asking a question at w-mart.

Rogers has some awesome deals and Hevi-Metal is some great ammo!!

A friend of mine in GA told me about Rogers. He said he looked at many, many sites and Rogers had the best deal on the Hevi-Metal loads. I am glad they came out with Hevi-Metal as I kept bouncing back and forth from Steel to Hevi Shot. Loved Hevi Shot in field just not at cash register.

I bought a case a couple of weeks ago at Simmon's Sporting Goods in Bastrop, LA and I received a $25 mail in rebate which was good for purchases made 8/1 through 8/31. If anyone purchases any in the near future, you may want to inquire about this or contact the manufacturer.

Yeah I bought 3 cases of Hevi-Shot at the end of last season. Thats the only shell I use for ducks. I have folded them at long distances and my wounded bird shots dropped by like 75% when I switched.

If you go to hevishot.com they have the rebate for a case or a box on there. Case is $25.00 rebate. I think it is for the hevi-metal only since it is a newer load for them.

With a $50 rebate on a case of Hevi-shot i believe i may try them this year. I was told to buy a shot size smaller than wat i used in steel loads, is this true? In other words i usually shoot Kent #2's, i was told to buy Hevi-Shot's in #4 shot.
