How do you know when the BATF approves a Form 4 for a suppressor? Is there a website that shows it or number you can call?
My check was cashed July 13.

You have a while to wait if your check was just cashed in July. The only way to check status is to call the NFA branch at 304-616-4500 You probably have at least 2 months before it goes through

checks are cashed almost immediately. Suppressor will come in long after you've forgotten the check has cashed.

I purchased mine through a corporation rather than a trust or individual....I heard that will knock about a month off the time required. I guess I will keep waiting.
Thanks!

There is no rhyme or reason in it. Had one customer from the THF's form 1 take 45 days, while another guys took 4 months.

Yep no Rhyme or Reason, Plus there have been alot of Changes to the NFA Branch since the first of the year that has made forcast all but impossible.
The latest change has basicly landed every form from Texas and Louisiana on One persons desk, who happens to be one of the slowest examiners in the branch. So I don't see it getting any quicker.

hey a friend of mine told me that there is a guy in Bullard (close to Tyler)that is a class 3 dealer. I'm wanting a suppressor really bad and I know my chief law enforcer won't sign off. I'm basically asking where in East Texas I can get a class 3 dealer to help me fill out a Trust for a suppressor?

This site will give you an idea: http://nfatracker.com/If you know your examiner you can go on there and look at their average approval time is.

I've got a 3rd can on order. A Shark "Jaws" .338 suppressor. This being my 4th NFA item; I just send it off and completely forget about it. Otherwise, you're blood pressure will make you stroke out in anticipation. It's like hoping Santa brings you a Red Ryder BB gun with a compass in the stock.

I just sent in two form 1's for krinks in 5.45, one for me and one for my 3 year old son. My can, and my SBR took about 4-5 months...I'm hoping for a shorter turnaround this time.

I put in an order in May, and it is still on Form 4. Its driving me nuts and I still have to wait for approval for it be transfered to me. Its going to be the better part of a year in before I get mine in my hands.
