Good on 'em for figuring out a way to kill hogs and make some money doing it. The important thing is that they're killing hogs...doesn't matter to me that they got a TV gig out of it or if they wear their boots on their hands.

If anyone ever does a "reality" hog show with DJONES, I'd watch it. I'm sure it would have to be pay-per-view with a PG rating (PG = Pig Gore!) That dude puts down more hogs in a single evening of hunting than that series will all season! elmer

We've been on some bird hunting shows with a local outdoor promoter down in south Texas, and I am here to tell you...the majority of the editing is done by the camera man.

On one hunt, we showed up at a pasture that was covered in cat claw and stickers. First thing we did to get ready is boot the dogs...and then here comes the camera man in tennis shoes.

Needless to say he missed some great footage by not being able to keep up.

It will be completely scripted, drumed up, and fake.

It will also lead to more people thinking you can make a living by hunting hogs lol

And probably paint Texans hillbillies...awesome. Yep, we all ride horses, wear 10gal hats, and carry a big loop saddle carbine. Just like John Wayne....good god...

You got that right! Awhile back one of the production companies was looking to do a show on pig hunters in Texas-probably the same bunch that found this crew. Anyway, they weren't looking for normal, average type folks that happen to hunt a lot, or even all the time. In fact, they only wanted 'over the top' type of folks, the kind that really, uh, stand out. Engineered reality is all these shows are about! Of course, that's what sells I guess.

The blue dogs in this preview are my dogs. When they shot this show they belonged to the cowboy in the black hat (also in the preview). My dog has two 10" scars from the hunt they filmed. I don't know them and I can't speak to their credibility but I'm not really looking forward to watching the show

Has the show been canceled already? I can't find it anywhere on my cable guide although the A&E website is still giving showtimes.

I found the answer. Due to the high heat in central Texas the show has been moved to fall.
