 Trying to get me a "Cappy" place! Before/After Pics-Water=

I had a spot behind my house about 150yrds where a shoot off from a larger creek ended. The area was questionable as to weather I could dig a pond there as there was some rock already visable from ground level. I called two diffrent "pond builders" to come and survey the area to see if they would give me a price on building one. Both of them were leary of digging a pond where I wanted it because of the small amount of rock shale that was visable. This all took place about 3yrs ago. This past May I dug the area. I got me a JohnDeere 450J dozer. Keep in mind I am not a professional tank builder but here are some pics of the first 3 days work.        Ended up being 30yrds wide and 75yrd long..obviously with no water. Dam end is 16' deep with the other end being 8' deep. I think the water level will end up flooding a stand of 20 trees in 3' of water.(Second Pic on the right) I did hit alittle rock but only about a 10x10 pad of it. The rest was easy digging!! Lucky me...Now bring on the water.
