I recently got a glock 19 rtf2 which I love, but when I finally got it out to the range my groups kinda sucked ( not terrible but not good enough for me). With my glock 22 and 31 I can put down a 1-2in circle at 7 yards with surpressive fire rates ( a round ever 1-1.5 seconds) with the 19 my group was about 4-5in and left. I have installed tru glow fiber optice sights tried adjusting them and it didnt really help I know its me.

So I am 6'2 325 and have monster hands any other big guys have similar problems with the id size glocks and if so what did you do to correct?

I have noticed while the fiber optic sights give a great contrasting sight picture they just don't seem to shoot as well, I think the rear notch on most is to wide for accurate shooting.

I have had several customers have me adjust windage to help, but learning to shoot them is seeming to be a more difficult problem than with regular sights.

Another thing fighting you is probably trying to find a consistent grip as you have larger hands than the grip accommodates. You may try a hogue slipover grip to increase the grip circumference.

How new is the gun? My Glock 21 was a little erratic at first, but just passed the 500 round mark and its impressive now. At first I was concerned, but now its where I want it.

Try different ammo and see what happens.

I bought a Glock off the forum and took it out and shot some FMJ through it. At about 15 yards I was probably a foot low and couldnt do anything about it other than aim a foot high. Next time I tried some hollow points and the thing was shooting right where I wanted it to.

Thats the only time I have ever seen ammo make such a huge difference in a hand gun but it may be worth a try.

I know its not the gun or ammo as a range officer tried it out and put a 1 in group dead center. So I know its me, I didnt think about the sights being the Issue But the more I think about it I just need more range time lol. If after 500 rounds its still not grouping for me Im going to try different sights or maybe trade it for a 17.

The 17 and the 19 really don't hold differently at all. You may want to try getting a Hogue grip. I got one because it fills it out for me and I prefer a wider grip. It's like $8.

Could it be the shorter line of sight that you are not used to? the 31 and 22 are both full size glocks where the 19 is some what shorter, I know when I first switched from a full size XD to a XDsc I had problems with my groups until I got used to the shorter line of sight.

The 19 has a 6.02" line of sight from rear to front sight (could even be shorter now with the fiber sight)

The 22 has a 6.49" line of sight don't know if half and inch would really mess with you that much but it could.

Also like I said the fiber optic sight i'm guessing is bigger than the stock sight which might lessen the distance even more.

Ref line of sight. I can tell a big difference between my 26 and the wife's 19 when I shoot her's. The slightly longer grip helps a little too but not all that much.

The only pistol I've never been able to shoot reasonably well was a Glock 19. It had a myriad of problems but hindsight tells me that some of them were actually MY problem; not the gun's. It would FTF or FTE at least once every magazine. Brass would fly everywhere. Sometimes it would come down on top of my head, sometimes it would hit me in the face, and sometimes it would fly off to the side. I sent it to Glock and they inspected/upgraded it at no charge. But it still FTF on the next to last round almost every time. Most likely a loose nut behind the trigger but every other Glock I own shoots really well. My G31 is scary good with both the 40 and 357 barrels.
