What happened to the dove days countdown thread? Cant seem to find it. Anyway, 29 more days til dove dooms day. And I just cant wait. Gettin my dog ready and gotta get new batteries for the SportDog. Gonna be great.

cant wait either, dove hunting is pure greatness. duke, might be dumb question, but what is a "sportdog" and why would it need batteries.....!

I'm not expecting the same kind of incredible opener I've had the last two years, but I can't wait!
I've been working my Brittany trying to get her to be consistent with retrieves. She does great some days and just wants to find 'em and keep moving on other days... which I guess I should expect from a pointer, but she needs to suck it up!
