DRT Longest stepped off shot with a rifle - 446 yards on a Wyoming Pronghorn. DRT Most accurate shot - About 40 yards on a Sparrow with a single BB in my wrist rocket (~8 years old). DRT Best shot - 10 feet down the throat of a charging pit bull. What makess it a good shot? Shooting a 270 sighted in at 100 yards and a 6x scope. As he busted out of the brush charging, all I could see in the scope was his tongue. When he rolled dead, he almost knocked me down. Oh yeah, did I mention he was charging on a dead run? Practice doesn’t make perfect. Practice makes permanent.

I've taken numerous deer between 200-400 yards. I've done a lot of target practice on steel at 600M (660 yards). Never had a range where I could shoot beyond that. Several years my brother and I went prairie dog hunting out of Lubbock. Not sure on ranges but we were stretching it out to roughly 1000 yards. Sometimes we got lucky and hit but most of the time we were scaring the little devils to death. Mike Buda, Tx Hunt near Freer

I then had to be quarantined with IV's of Vancomycin for another week.
