I think I am about to get a new bow. I am seriously considering the Bowtech Assassin. Since I hunt with my son we have to kept our budget in mind and the Assassin seems to be the answer. I know there are much better bows for alot more money, but has anyone heard anything negative or bad about the Assassin?

You won't regret it. I love mine and can shoot it pretty well compared with some "higher end" hoyts and matthews regardless of it's substantially lower price tag. You may also look at a diamond if you want to save a little more, but if you can soot well with the assassin it's a great option.

If it feels comfortable when you shoot it, you can shoot it accurately, and it is quite that is all that matters in my opinion.
