Well...I checked out GoogleEarth because another post in THF said they've updated the satellite pics. When I looked at the area I hunted, there was an icon link that referred me to this bigfoot website: http://www.bfro.net/GDB/show_county_reports.asp?state=TX&county=Red%20RiverApparently there's been some bigfoot sightings in Red River County. Now I don't believe them...I think they are just black bear sightings....but you never know now do you? What's your opinion in this? Who's seen bigfoot in TX?

After looking at the reports i think it is a black panther in winter coat, or some people from north of the red running around lost and naked again
The purpose of a warrior is not to reason with the enemy but to kill him.

Sounds kinda like Orn has done a hair dye job and has been running the woods again.

A couple of years ago I the Discovery channel had a show on this Texas Bigfoot group. I believe this is the same group.

Honest to goodness story here. Two years ago, I came out one evening from my bow blind. I came to the edge of my pipeline. I always stop and ease out to see if there are deer there. Well I look about 100 yards down at one of my pipe feeders, you know the pvc ones, there is something standing at it, well I think, why is someone at my feeder, on my lease? Well I am in the edge of the woods and I realize this is one tall person. My feeders are about 8 feet tall, and this thing is almost to top, well at least six half to seven feet. Anyway, you ever get one of those eerie feelings, well I did, so I just watched. In a moment a deer stepped out of the woods about 20 yards from me, I looked at it, then back to the feeder and whatever was there was gone. I keep hoping he will come back during rifle season. He would be two hundred yards from my blind, and the Bigfoot question would be put to rest. True story. Swear it, I don't drink, don't use drugs, and only lie about women.

About 2-3 years ago, I started watching "Mysterious Encounters" on one of the outdoor cable channels. From those shows I found the link to BFRO and since that time, I have periodically read about sightings reported to BFRO. They have a breakdown of state by state and county by county sightings. There are a good many in East Texas. The reports are updated on a regular basis.
There are some very interesting reports on the site and many of the Texas areas I am familiar with.
I just checked the BFRO sight last night and there are some game camera pictures from Pennsylvania that are interesting to say the least. You might want to check it out.
I have no personal experiences to relate and will only say that I approach the subject with an open mind. If for no other reason, it is fun to read and consider..."what if"...
