Don't have a lease there but was in Beaumont this week for baseball and the place was covered in dove on the east side of town.

Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden.
Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

If I'm LUCKY enuff to catch some of the season from this bad knee surgery I had, I'll be hunting Bell Co. on Public land fighting the rest of the men for the best spots...not looking hopeful for me with my walking though!!

i guess iraqis dont hunt doves because the eurasians here are thick like the plague. they also have darker colored one thats bigger than a pigeon and they are thick too. we were doing our army thing near some farm fields watching them fly over wave after wave. my soldiers were laughing at me because i was tracking them with my hands up like i was shooting them. i snapped a couple pics of the big ones what ever they are. they arent very good pics but this is what i got.

Army: I don't know if I could resist not at least trying to get some hunting in. Mil buckshot wouldn't leave much bird, and God only knows what kind of mess it would be to even get permission to hunt. Might be a morale booster. The brass love photo ops of our guys having a little r&r.

Middle eastern folks always look at me funny when I talk about hunting deer or birds. Stranger in a strange land.

your right its a nearly impossible situation. i had an arrangement early in the deployment where i might have been able to pull it off but i was able suppress the hunting itch by reducing the stray dog population by 1 or 2 a day.

Hunting mostly Williamson county. I planted two 1/2 acre plots of sunflowers on my land and had decent crop but the gentleman that leases my land for cattle dumped a few cows on there yesterday and them son of guns are eating all the heads off them mad Now I have seen everything
