sweet, I just joined. I have a year old Brittany who I think would be a great pointer..hopefully I can make it out to one of these training days and meet you guys! Thomas and Bella

Hello. I have an 8 week old female GSP. I am a disabled veteran of Iraq War and was needing some help with basic training. I also have many questions regarding when training and what type of training should be started. Thank you.

 Nice to have you on the THF, we are hopefully haveing a training day as soon as this hot weather goes away. Right now its just to hot to let the dogs work for an extended amount of time. Bucksducks- Not sure what you mean by "brought back from the grave"? A new THF member was obviously looking through the archives at old threads. Right now it's way too hot to do anything. We had a few training sessions in the spring. And we are currently working with NSTRA about teaming up and putting together a BDC Event. We will begin training again in the fall. Yes we are still around. Not much to do with the heat right now but we'll be kicking up more events as it cools off this year. Stay tuned on the website for more details.
BTW, it's not actually called North Texas Upland dog club, it's called Texas Gun Dog Club. texasgundogclub.com
