wanna talk about something that is expensive.....a protein feeder is it! i can't afford to roll like that.

I have 3 protien feeder 2,000lbs, 800lbs, 1,100lbs I have bought all 3 from here for a grand total of 900.00 bones

I'm not talking about the cost of the protein feeder itself.....i'm talking about the cost of FEEDING PROTIEN! Guys i know that do it go through about 2,000 pounds every couple weeks!

I may have spent some money on the capsule but i will have it for the rest of my life. These guys are spending $200 a week in protien..........holy cow!

last year I feed a total of 7,000lbs on 615ac that was from Jan thru Sept. After this weekend I will have bought 8,500lbs yr to date. So yeah your right feeding these wood goats can cost
some $$$$

The deer look good & yes I have some B&C coons. I'm starting to worry about this winter, thats when the deer will take a big hit. A cold winter with no food & throw in the rut, it can get bad pretty quick.

you can buy the boss buck kit to build one yourself. It is pretty easy

No they dis not come with feed. I buy in bulk from the Freedonia Peanut Comany, they have a Pak Jak that holds 3,000lb If you buy their feed in bulk you get a little price break.

Since i don't feed protein i haven't been watching the prices of it. Has it seen the same increases that corn has over the last few months?

Check this out! I received the metal lid that they made me today. Looks like it's going to work great.

I called down there to ask them how much corn (pounds) this capsule throws per second. He told me 1/2 pound per second.

I usually have them turned down a little bit this time of year.

With that being said, if i run it for 5 seconds in the morning and 5 seconds in the afternoon it will throw 5 lbs. of corn in a day (2.5 morning and 2.5 afternoon).

It holds 1000 pounds and will have no loss due to raccoons now so it will throw for 200 days without having to fill it!

That is freaking incredible. Like i said earlier, my 300 pound monarch was emptied in 2 weeks.
