I shot Thunderheads for years, and took a lot of game with them.

I have recently changed to Slick Trick Magnums, and have not yet taken an animal, but have shot them quite a bit and they do seem to fly very well.

I'd like to try the Phantoms to see how they fly out of my rig before I sink $40 into a pack. Anyone close by have one I can test run?

Give the Wasp Boss 4 blade a try. They are good heads and have the same flight characteristics as slick tricks. I like the tricks, but the boss can be had for a little less and I go through allot of heads in a year.

Foxtrot, I can send you one to try out if you would like.

BOBO, HellRazors fly erradically and there is no telling where any 2 in a row will hit..... I tried tuning them every which way with no success...hope this helps you decide

I used to throw Bear Razorhead 100s but they didn't fly well with the bleeder blades in them. I like the cut on contact design though. The two blade only though can lead to sparse blood trails. Dead animals, but sparse blood trails.

For fixed blades you dont get any better than Alaska Bowhunting supply's broadheads. The single bevels are amazing, but if you want a larger hole and prefer a double bevel go with their Silver flames XL.

design a broadhead for when everything goes wrong."

With the steep angle they get awesome penetration out of her DXT shootiing 55 lbs. And they leave awesome blood trails. I have shot 5 animals with them gotten pass thrus on everything and everything has dropped in sight including a mature fallow buck that took 3 steps and fell over. Her stuff runs no more than 60 yards and falls over. And they hit the exact same place as our field points

X2 on the Muzzy Phantoms. Check out the vid posted last season. These leave massive blood trails. Left Montec for these!!!!

I'm a strictly traditional shooter. I may try these 225 grains.

http://www.tuffhead.com/broadheads/tuffhead%20specs.html

They are really expensive, but they fit the perfectly designed head as proposed by Dr. Ed Ashby. He's done years of study regarding the lethality of bowhunting heads, FOC, arrow weight, etc.

Life time guarantee. $53.50 for three.
