Just recently picked up a bolt action clip fed 410 and I'm not quite sure what to do with it. Anyone use them for rabbits and squirrels?

Back when I was young I used it for dove hunting, and I remember getting a few with it. Just curious what else I could use it for.

I've killed several squirrels and even a couple of coons with a bolt .410. It's a capable little cartridge, you just have to be judicious with your shot placement.

hunted rabbits and squirrels as a kid with a H&R single shot 410 still have it . good little gun but aint shot it in over 20 years.
after seein this gonna try to remember to take it out this season.

I used to hunt qual, rabbits and squirrel w/ one. Great little gun....... never got around to hunting dear w/ it, always itching. Not had one in years..... am actually on the hunt for a 410 just for nastalgia sake

Plan on using my .410 wingmaster for doves this year.

I dont know why it wouldnt work for tree rats and bunnies, just pick your shots.

Works fine for rabbits. We used to use them a lot when I was a kid.

I used a 410 side by side for years. It is a great rabbit gun, just aim for the tip of the nose and you'll hit in the head and save the meat.
