We have a scorpion problem at our ranch and was wondering if anyone on here knew of a way to get rid of them? They have not got inside the house YET but they are all around the house.

Not sure if you live in Rocksprings or have a ranch there. If you go to or thru Hondo stop at Mumme's and ask them at the counter about your scorpion problem and they will get you what you need.

Demond spray is the best stuff I've found. If you're spraying outside, I'd at least double, probably triple the suggested dose and go to work. If you're going to be gone for a week or so, I'd use most of the strong mix, then add water to it so it would be about the the suggested dose and spray the corners and baseboards inside.

Either Demon or Viper works good (they are the same active ingredient, just different formulas,) but you have to be proactive, spray atleast every 3 months inside & out. Also if its a crawlspace, buy a hand duster and blow a little Demon under the house. Glueboards work wonders (hide them under areas where you won't disturb them so you don't get stuck.

Hope this helps.

Also, Demon is a wettable powder, so be cautious on spraying hardwoods as it will leave a white residue.

As mentioned before, Ficam W is hands down the best scorpion killer I've ever used, but it's been off the market for a couple of years (grrr..thanks, Kalifornia!). I bought a 1lb container, and hope its strength remains as I slowly use it up.
Woth asking for at some out of the way places, maybe it's still on the shelf.
The Demon product comes highly recommended for today's market.
