 Hogs to Deer Ratio?

I am curious to know if there is a good hog to deer ratio because it seems like the hogs out number the deer 10:1. I would like to here some of yalls thoughts on this because we have some very promising looking deer for the first year this lease has been fed and hunted in a long time.

I dont really kown about a good ratio. I do know that if you dont control the pig population they can over run a place pretty quick because they breed year around and have big litters. Me and the guys on my lease hunt pigs hard in the off season to help control the population. I like having the pigs on our lease because I like eating them, But if you dont control them they can become a big problem.

Seems to be 100:1 but would prefer 0:1
We have enough youth. How about a fountain of "smart"?

yea the NO HOGS ratio is best in any situation unless u solely hunt for hogs only

theres not a good ratio for hogs-deer inless its 0:1. if this year its 1-10 next year it will be 1-2 and the next year 2-1 and so on.

I believe Texas has around 2 million hogs right now. Compared to 4 million whitetail.
Ratio is 1:2.
But don't quote me on this.

I bet you can get a few guys on here to help you out with this horrible problem your having.   Best ratio is 0:1.

I appreciate all the input I have two traps out there right now so I might go ahead and start trapping. I haven't been beacause it was getting to hot during the day and I can only check them about every two or three days. I like the fact that we have hogs because they are really good eating but I just don't want them screwing up the deer hunting either.

HA..Yeah...and I can't say that i don't like shootin hogs either...but they knock over feeders and seems like they run deer off even though alot of people say they don't...i will shoot everyone I see.
