Some people in NSTRA look down on them, but not me. I wish they had more in Texas.

I guess that's the way it goes. Some people in AF look down on NSTRA.

If you know any one that has some trail grounds or just some property they would let us run tournaments on let me know. I want to start up The Texas Tournament Hunters Club and run NBDCA and NAGDOG evnts out here. I put on many of tournaments in Nevada and California and they are a really good time plus you can win a little money.

The Anna, or Katy trials grounds could probably be used.

I did participate in the 1 and only BDC event that was held here. The guy putting it on had just moved here from --- I think Wisconson? Anyhow It sounded like fun so I signed up. The guy had a place leased out to have the event at and they were supplying birds also. Well 2 days before the event the place he had the lease with called up said they had a death in the family and could not supply birds. I helped him hustle up a few birds but turnout was low and a bunch of people cancled on him. I still had fun. It would be fun to put something together if you guys are interested? Only thing is I have a flusher/Springer. I think most of you guys have pointers.

Man i used to put them on in California where you wouldn't think about people and bird dogs. First trail i put on had 10 guys show up.3 flushers and 7 pointers. Everybody had a great time started letting guys know three trails later we had 22 dogs in pointing class 15 in flushers. I think if we just started running them out here people would catch on and could get something going. I'm looking for leasing grounds i will keep you guys informed. If anyone could help out or know of any please let me know. I had some really good sponsors for my CA and NV trails which all said they would back me out here.

Are you raising birds this year?
