i would say just in case there was a chance for a world class elk. dont want to be under gunned in a situation like that

i would say just in case there was a chance for a world class elk. dont want to be under gunned in a situation like that Mine is an Ackley Imp. and I would't hunt elk with it.

I'm just going to carry a 300 for elk and hunt deer and pronghorn with 257. if I see an irresistable deer ill have to shoot it with the 300
