I need a good taxidermist in the Central TX area. I always used Bucksnort out of Mart but he went under. I would be willing to travel a little, say 60 miles, to find a good one. I need to get my double drop tine whitetail done.

Any suggestions?

Great looking buck! I would take him to Damuth in Brady. He will do a fantastic job on him.

I have used both Damuth in Brady and Trophy taxidermy in Early and both are outstanding.

A guy by the name of Wesley Toten in China Spring is very good. He's doing an Aoudad for me, it'll be my first from him, but all of my friends in Waco use hime and his stuff is right! Fair pricing too. PM for his info.

the last one I had BJ do he was reasonable. That has been a few years but he does very good work. Fulton Firearms has some of his work displayed, an Elk, and Waterbuck in there were done by BJ.

X2 BJ Whaley at Blackdog Taxidermy in Hamilton. He's done 3 shoulder mounts for me, still working on my last shoulder mount, a whitetail European, and a bobcat European. BJ is a super nice guy too.

I was going to say Steve in Brownwood but he might actually be in Early. He has done many ducks for me and numerous shoulder mounts for a ranch owner I use to know. He does great work.
