Hi y'all. Just thought I'd say hello. Looks like an excellent place to hang out and talk hunting. I hope to make a positive contribution here and there while picking up some good info from the rest of you. I've hung out on TFF in the flyfishing section for a while, but for some reason I couldn't get my handle there to work on THF. I'm WoollyBugger on TFF. I go by Shane on TBH. Pencil Pusher here, so that ought to keep any stalkers confused.  Is it deer season yet?

Welcome! If you have a Savage rifle, hunt hogs with Pit Bulls, shoot deer with a 223, love antler restrictions, shoot Gar with your bow, and use Buck Crack then you shouldnt have any problems makin friends around here.

If you have a Savage rifle, hunt hogs with Pit Bulls, shoot deer with a 223, love antler restrictions, shoot Gar with your bow, and use Buck Crack then you shouldnt have any problems makin friends around here. I have a Savage .22-250 that my son used to kill lots of deer with. Traded a single shot .223 for the 250. He killed his first few deer with the .223. I've never been hog dogging, but it sounds like fun. I'm a fan of antler restrictions. I hunt with a bow often, but never shot fish - yet. I shot some carp with a pellet gun the other day with my son though. Don't use Buck Crack. Hard to beat corn, and corn is usually cheaper than all the other "miracle" products anyway. How's that?
